  •  Bryan Murdie, Planning and Mitigation Branch Director
    • Bryan is responsible for the coordination of all actions within KDEM which involve emergency planning and hazard mitigation.  This position's areas of expertise include: all-hazards planning and COOP planning.
       
  • Susan McMahan, Planner
    • Susan is responsible for the coordination of all actions within KDEM which involve county emergency planning.  Susan's areas of expertise include: all-hazards planning, County EOP development and training, COOP planning and training.
       
  • Brian Rogers, Resource Management Planner
    • Brian is responsible for the coordination of all actions within KDEM which involve resouce management planning. Bryan manages the division's Comprehensive Resource Management and Credentialing System (CRMCS) project, and all resource management related activities as they pertain to emergency management.
  • Andrew Wolfe, Planner
    • Andrew is responsible for the coordination of all actions within KDEM which involve COOP and EMAP accrediation. Andrew's areas of expertise include: all-hazards planning, COOP development and training, THIRA, and debris management plan development.
  • Jeanne Bunting, Mitigation Planner
    • Jeanne is responsible for the coordination of all actions within KDEM which involve hazard mitigation planning.  Jeanne's areas of expertse include: hazard mitigation planning, Emergency Alert System (EAS), and vulnerability and risk assessments.
       
  •  Jacob Gray, State Hazard Mitigation Officer (SHMO)
    • The SHMO, Jacob, has overall management responsibility for the program and is the state official who is ultimately responsible for ensuring that the state properly implements the Hazard Mitigation Grant Programs.  The SHMO is the primary point of contact with FEMA, other Federal agencies, and local governments in mitigation planning and implementation of the mitigation programs and activities required under the Stafford Act.
       
  • Charlie McGonigle and Jerry Millsaps, Hazard Mitigation Specialists
    • Charlie and Jerry are responsible for program coordination and implementation.  They also maintain computer management systems for hazard mitigation activities, provide technical assistance to potential applicants and/or eligible sub-grantees in developing and submitting applications, monitoring projects through completion and processing of re-imbursement requests.
       
  • Mike D'Attilio, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Coordinator
    • Mike is responsible for the coordination of all actions within KDEM which involve the use of the agency's Geographic Information System.  Mike manages the Division's flagship application, Kansas-MAP, the Kansas GIS Response Team, and all other GIS related activities as they pertain to Emergency Management and Homeland Security.
       
  •  Luke Finley, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Analyst
    • Luke is responsible for the very large amount of customer service the GIS warrants.  Luke creates maps, data, analysis, and much more as they pertain to the customer's needs across the state.
