Senior Master Sgt. John Evans, 190th Air Refueling Wing, presents a certificate of appreciation to a Veteran at Atria Hearthstone West on Veterans Day. Soldiers and Airmen from the Kansas National Guard, soldiers from the 1st Sustainment Brigade, Fort Riley, and members of the U.S. Coast Guard visited 15 local nursing homes to hand out certificates of appreciation to residents who were veterans.

Soldiers and Airmen from the Kansas National Guard learned the responsibilities of fiscal law in a class conducted at Nickell Armory, Nov. 5.

Maj. Gen. Lee Tafanelli was the guest speaker at the Museum of the Kansas National Guard's quarterly brownbag luncheon, Nov. 5. Tafanelli discussed the future of the Kansas National Guard.
