Governor Sam Brownback signs a proclamation designating April 2015 as Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month.

First responders from all across Kansas are taking part in a two-day, full-scale exercise at Crisis City near Salina, Kansas, March 31 and April 1. The exercise scenario simulates a gas explosion in a downtown area. Gov. Sam Brownback signs a proclamation March 27 marking Sexual Assault Awareness Week in Kansas.
